Mission

HUBServ wishes to develop and grow a reliable Internet services provider for the Pine Belt area.  HUBServ’s desire is to develop a service that is beneficial to the customer through its reliability, speed, local information and family orientation.  The following guidelines have been developed to help you and to help us accomplish our goals and visions.

 Definitions

(a)      “Company” will refer to HUBServ from this point in the document. 

(b)     “Customer” will refer to the person receiving service and has signed this agreement.

(c)      “Dedicated Connection” means that the customer frequently establishes a connection with the HUBServ server and that connection remains uninterrupted for over 4 hours at one time.

 Guidelines For Personal Web Space

“Personal Web Space” refers to 5MB of space allocated to each personal or non-commercial account for posting of web pages.  These pages cannot be used to promote any type of business activity or organization.  Materials should be family oriented and not contain materials unsuitable for family viewing.  HUBServ staff will check personal pages.  HUBServ reserves the right to delete pages that contain what it feels to be questionable material.

  “Questionable Materials” include, but are not limited to, pornographic and sexually explicit material, racist or hate group materials, profanity, illegal drugs, hacking, and other dangerous or inappropriate subject matters.  HUBServ reserves the right to terminate its relationship with any customer at any time and will exercise that right immediately if questionable materials are found in a member’s home pages.   Sending unsolicited information or “junk mail” (Spamming) is prohibited and will result in termination of services.

 Company Obligations

HUBServ is responsible for providing reliable Internet services to all of its customers.

 Limitation of Liability

In the event that HUBServ experiences an interruption in service, the company is in no way liable for loss of business or damages incurred from that interruption to the customer.  HUBServ is in no way responsible for viruses, Trojan horses, personal or emotional injury etc.. that may cause damages to you or your system.  It is the responsibility of the customer to take the proper precautions to guard against viruses and other factors on the Internet that could cause damage to their computer software or hardware.  It is also the customers own choice on what they want to view on the Internet.

 Support

HUBServ will provide software support for customers who wish to gain access to the Internet through the company’s service during normal working hours.  The company will provide its current browser and email software, and configure that software free of charge. Hardware or software problems that are not a direct result of the software installation to connect to the Internet are the customer’s responsibility and will be referred to a repair facility at its current billable rates. 

 Notice of Service Cancellation

HUBServ requires that customers give 30 days written notice before terminating their account.  Written notices can be sent by U.S. mail, or brought to a HUBServ office.   No additional charges will be billed to your account once HUBServ receives the notice of termination.

 Access and Billing

Customers can access HUBServ  according to our Acceptable Use Policy.  HUBServ reserves the right to charge premium rates for extended dedicated connections on dialup lines. HUBServ requires payment in advance of service usage and no partial month refunds will be issued  Do not give account information to anyone other than the person signing this contract.  Multiple simultaneous sessions, including modem bonding, will result in you being responsible to pay for multiple accounts.  HUBServ reserves the right to delete a customers account if not paid in full on time.   Customers who do not pay on time will be charged appropriate late fees and reconnect fees and no credit will be issued while your account is on hold. Minimum signups will be for one full period.

Default and termination

HUBServ reserves the right to terminate the contract of any business or individual at any point in time for any reason. Customers that violate any of the above stated policies will have their account terminated. Terms of Agreement The customer, by signing this agreement, agrees to abide by all of the rules and guidelines set forth in this document. The customer agrees that he/she has fully read and understood all of the information presented in this document and agrees to unconditionally abide by the rules set forth. HUBServ reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this contract.
